Curious to know how much you’ll be spending on flowers for your Seattle wedding? This guide breaks down average floral costs and fees, as well as what you can expect when booking a full-service florist who sources exclusively local & seasonal blooms.

What Is the Average Cost of a Wedding Florist in Seattle?

I may have tricked you by asking this question. . . because the honest truth is, there isn’t one specific number I can give you. Sure, I could give you a wide-ranging estimate of wedding flowers in the greater Seattle area. But that won’t account for key factors such as your unique vision, priorities, values, and needs that go into your search for the perfect florist!

What I can do, though, is give you the typical amount that our couples spend here at Twisted Bramble, where we use only local and seasonal flowers/foliage: on average, couples invest $15,000 into flowers for their Seattle wedding. Generally, pricing for our most basic florals goes somewhat like this:

  • Primary bouquet(s): $250+

  • Bud vases: $25 each

  • Arbors: Pieces starting at $700

  • Standard centerpieces: $185

We require a $7,000 minimum for 2026 weddings, but our couples usually spend closer to 10-15% of their total wedding budget on flowers to enhance their celebration.

Below are a few core beliefs and priorities our couples hold, all of which factor into their decision to invest in eco-friendly, luxury wedding flowers:

  • Deep respect for the natural world

  • Exclusively local and seasonal flowers/foliage

  • Reusable materials and mechanics

  • Designs that honor seasonal abundance & rhythms

  • Sustainable luxury & eco-friendly resources

Because beautiful floristry shouldn’t come at the cost of the planet—or the values you hold dear.

Breaking Down Key Wedding Flower Costs & Fees

Planning a wedding means that you’re being hit with a lot of invoices at once, many of which might include all kinds of fees, items, and costs you might not fully understand. Here at Twisted Bramble, we always aim to be transparent so that you know what goes into your invoice total, right out of the gate. And if you are not a florist yourself (or experienced in hiring a florist), chances are you don’t quite know what that total cost entails! That’s why I’ve broken down key wedding flower costs and fees for you below to make sure you know exactly where your money is going.

The Flowers

First and foremost, your invoice will include fees for the flowers. Duh. Every piece of your wedding florals will come with its own price, depending on its size, level of detail/intricacy, the flowers and foliage used, and the time required to execute the design.

Below, I’ve laid out the different types of arrangements and designs your invoice may include.

Personal Flowers

These are any flowers that stay on your person throughout the day, or fit in as part of an outfit. Personal flowers often include (but are not limited to):

  • Primary bouquet(s) for the couple

  • Boutonnière(s) for the couple

  • Wedding party bouquets and boutonnieres

  • Wrist corsages

  • Flower petals

Personal flowers can also include floral crowns—for both humans and dogs!

Ceremony Flowers

Ceremony flowers are any installations or arrangements used to decorate your ceremony. Often times couples will have us repurpose some of their ceremony flowers and turn them into reception pieces. Ceremony flowers may include:

  • Aisle entrance arrangements

  • Aisle arrangements

  • Full flower arch/arbor

  • Partial arch/arbor installations

  • Front of ceremony/altar installations (such as a ground arch/meadow)

  • Welcome table arrangements

Reception Flowers

Finally, reception flowers are used to enhance and elevate the latter part of your celebration. These often include:

  • Cocktail table arrangements

  • Seating chart florals

  • Soft seating arrangements

  • Bud vases

  • Bar area arrangements

  • Ikebana-inspired arrangements

  • Head table or sweetheart table florals

  • Cake flowers

  • Floral table runners

  • Compote centerpieces

  • Candles

  • Ceiling installations

Additional Fees

In addition to the actual flowers and foliage sourced for your chosen arrangements, there are a few more numbers you will see on your invoice breakdown: labor & design fees, overhead & admin fees, and sales tax.

Labor & Design

To put it simply, labor and design fees are added to your invoice to account for the time and effort put into the actual design & execution of your wedding flowers. An additional 20% of your estimated invoice will be added for labor and design.

Overhead & Admin

Similarly, overhead and admin fees compensate for any operating costs that come with designing, sourcing, building, and delivering your wedding flowers. An additional 15-35% of the estimated invoice will be added for overhead and admin fees, depending on factors such as necessary vehicle rentals, travel, etc.

Sales Tax

Finally, we are required to collect a 10.35% sales tax on all non-service related items. We never want this to be a surprise when you open your invoice, so we prefer to be up front about it and ensure your expectations are clear ahead of time.

What’s Included in a Full-Service Wedding Floral Package?

If you’re a little confused about what a “full-service florist” entails, fear not! It’s actually very simple: when we say we offer full-service wedding florals, all it means is that we support you in every stage of the process, from design, to execution, to cleanup at the end of the day. We’ll never just drop your flowers off at the venue and leave you hanging. . . you’ll have enough to worry about on the big day. Let’s take a brief look at what each of these stages looks like!

Delivery & Setup

As your wedding gets closer, we’ll coordinate with your wedding timeline (and planner, if you have one) so that every floral detail is perfected and in place by the agreed-upon time. You can always count on us to be a little early, ready to problem-solve on the fly and bring calm, capable energy to your celebration—rather than just being another vendor you have to worry about.

Day-Of Transitions

We don’t just leave once the setup is done: we’ll also manage any floral movement or repurposing that needs to happen throughout the day, ensuring each arrangement looks fresh and intentional in its setting. From altar to reception, every bloom and branch will breathe new life into the present moment—so much so that your guests would be shocked to learn that those are actually the same flowers from your ceremony.

Teardown

At the end of your event, we’ll carefully and swiftly remove all florals and our rentals, leaving the venue spotless and stress-free for you, your guests, and your vendors. Consider us flies on the wall—we’ll be out of your hair before you know we were there in the first place.

Steps to Booking Your Luxury Seattle Wedding Florist

Now you know what goes into the cost of hiring your Seattle wedding florist—but what happens when it comes time to book? How do payments work, and how do you secure your date? Take a peek into the process below to see exactly what to expect.

1. Book an intro call

The first step to hiring your florist is the easiest of all: get in touch and schedule an intro call with us! We’ll connect for a virtual first date to get to know one another, chat about your vision, and feel out whether or not Twisted Bramble is the right fit for you.

2. Pay a date reservation fee

Before we dive any deeper into curating your unique selection of florals, you’ll secure your wedding date and Twisted Bramble’s services with a $500 date reservation fee. This fee marks your date on our calendar, and will be applied to your final invoice.

3. Book a consultation

It’s finally time to get down to brass tacks and go over everything related to your wedding flowers. You’ll want to bring a few key details to our call:

  • Budget range

  • Number of guests

  • What you’re envisioning

As well as anything else you want to share! Pinterest boards, color palettes you’re loving, anything goes. We’ll chat about all of it and ensure we’re on the same page moving forward.

4. Proposal

Based on our consultation, I will then send you a quote and proposal. This will detail what your flower cost may look like, with a breakdown of every item included. Proposals can be modified up to 30 days before your wedding, so don’t worry about setting things in stone just yet—we can always adjust as needed.

5. Payment

50% of the invoice is due up front with the remainder due one month prior to the wedding. A portion of every wedding invoice we send at Twisted Bramble is donated to a nonprofit that reflects shared values, so you’ll have the opportunity to choose an organization where you’d like to make an impact. Select from our list of organizations that align with our mission, such as Front and Centered and Indigenous Women Rising, or pick your own.

6. Final check-in

We’ll be in touch as the big day gets closer, with one final check-in via email or video to make sure everything is ready to go! Upon your wedding’s arrival, we’ll show up ready to get to work and give your venue a lil’ upgrade with beautiful, luxurious, and eco-conscious florals.

Ready to trust Twisted Bramble with your wedding day dreams? You bring the love, and we’ll bring the blooms. Get in touch here to bring your unique vision to life with sustainably-sourced florals that are a little untamed, and always divine.
